Tuesday, sept. 25

  • grand theft: After having carpets cleaned, a resident of the 00 block of Baltusrol Street noticed jewelry was missing from her bedroom. The jewelry was estimated to be worth $5,800.

    Sunday, sept. 30

  • traffic incident: A vehicle stopped on Moraga Road at Hansen Court to let turkeys cross the road. The vehicle was rear-ended and that vehicle in turn was also rear-ended.

  • residential burglary: Someone entered a residence in the 0-100 block of Greenfield Drive by breaking through a glass sliding door leading into the master bedroom. Several pieces of custom jewelry from the bathroom and $400 from a bedroom dresser drawer were taken. Total monetary loss was $650.

  • vandalism: Vandalism was reported at 12:31 p.m. in the 500 block of Merriewood Drive.

  • Hit and Run: At 11:23 p.m., a hit and run was reported in the 3200 block of Camino Colorados.

  • Vandalism: At 6:49 a.m., vandalism was reported in the 500 block of Merriewood Drive.

  • Accident: A vehicle accident was reported at 11:03 a.m. at Almaden Court and Reliez Valley Road.

  • Hit and Run: A hit and run was reported at 1:02 p.m. at Monroe Avenue and Moraga Boulevard.

  • accident: At 8:05 a.m., a vehicle accident was reported in the 1200 block of Pleasant Hill Road.

  • Reckless driving: Reckless driving was reported at 4:58 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Road and Stanley Boulevard.

  • burglary: At 5:41 p.m., a burglary was reported in the 1000 block of Upper Happy Valley Road.

  • Runaway: A juvenile runaway was reported at 7:35 p.m. in the 3200 block of Lucas Circle.

  • Accident: At 7:50 a.m., a vehicle accident was reported at Deer Hill Road and Sierra Vista Way.

  • Burglary: At 10:47 a.m., a burglary was reported in the 1000 block of Upper Happy Valley Road.

  • Animal Cruelty: Animal cruelty was reported at 11:36 a.m. in the 3600 block of Mt. Diablo Boulevard.

  • DUI: At 5:56 p.m., driving under the influence was reported in the 3500 block of Mt. Diablo Boulevard.

  • Harassment: At 11:38 p.m., harassment was reported in the 3600 block of Walnut Street.

  • Reckless driving: Reckless driving was reported at 7:57 a.m. at Moraga Road and St. Marys Road.

  • Trespassing: At 8:02 a.m., trespassing was reported in the 3400 block of La Caminita.

  • Burglary: A burglary was reported from a vehicle at 5:59 p.m. in the 3600 block of Mt. Diablo Boulevard.

    Friday, Sept. 28

  • Identity theft: At 12:19 p.m., identity theft was reported in the 3600 block of Happy Valley Road.

  • Hit and Run: A hit and run was reported at 5:27 p.m. at Glenside Drive and St. Mary's Road.

  • Burglary: A residential burglary was reported at 6:23 p.m. in the 1200 block of El Curtola Boulevard.

    Saturday, Sept. 29

  • Vehicle Accident: At 11:27 a.m., a vehicle accident was reported at Deer Hill Road and Laurel Drive.

  • Malicious calls: At 11:46 a.m., malicious telephone calls were reported in the 1000 block of Oak Hill Road.

  • Reckless driving: Reckless driving was reported at 12:46 p.m. at First Street and Mt. Diablo Boulevard.

  • Threats: Threats were reported at 4:54 p.m. in the 3200 block of Hillview Lane.

    Thursday, Sept. 13

  • Carjacking: A 27-year-old male was arrested at 12:40 a.m. after carjacking a vehicle in the 00 block of Camino Pablo and crashing it on Highway 24 near Lafayette.

  • Identity theft: A 51-year-old male was arrested at 9:47 a.m. Sept. 13 in the 30 block of Orinda Way for identity theft after using the checking account of a former employer to obtain $49,000. The man attempted a second withdrawal of $32,000 but was denied by the bank. The man had wired the money to Nigeria for a $15.8 million inheritance.

    Wednesday, Sept. 19

  • Burglary: At 8:22 a.m., a burglary was reported in the 600 block of Moraga Way. Unknown suspects ransacked a home that had previously been burgled in August.

  • Warrant: A 57-year-old woman was arrested at 10:27 a.m. in the 500 block of Moraga Way on a warrant from the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office.

  • Residential burglary: At 2:10 p.m., a burglary was reported at a home in the 00 block of Overhill Road. Unknown suspects stole jewelry valued at $18,000.

    Saturday, Sept. 22

  • DUI: At 2:15 p.m., a 39-year-old male was arrested in the 70 block of Loma Vista Drive for driving under the influence.

    Monday, Sept. 24

  • Burglary: A commercial burglary was reported at 12:04 p.m. in the 00 block of Camino Sobrante. Two men were arrested for stealing batteries valued at $500 and for being in possession of burglary tools.

    Tuesday, Sept. 25

  • Probation violation: A 30-year-old woman was arrested at 1:32 p.m. in the 90 block of Tarry Lane for violation of probation and driving on a suspended license. Police had received initial reports that the occupants of a vehicle were stealing mail from mailboxes.

    Sunday, Sept. 28

  • Warrant: A 21-year-old woman was arrested at 4:11 a.m. at Fish Ranch Road and the westbound Highway 24 offramp for an outstanding warrant from Long Beach. She was also in possession of marijuana which she told police was hidden in a body cavity.

    Monday, Oct. 1

  • Drugs: An 18-year-old man was arrested at 11:11 p.m. in the 700 block of Moraga Way for drug possession. Police found him in possession of a glass pipe and suspected methamphetamine.
