PRUNEDALE -- Monterey County authorities arrested three men Friday and seized more than 500 pounds of processed marijuana and marijuana buds in a raid in Prunedale.

About 7 a.m., Monterey deputies served a search warrant at 235 Echo Valley Road, said deputy Mike Davis. They found a shotgun, rifle and a handgun, as well as 230 pounds of processed marijuana, deputies said.

Authorities also seized 99 marijuana plants that contained about 300 pounds of marijuana buds, Davis said.

Deputies arrested 26-year-old Pablo Bautista, 31-year-old Marcos Hernandez and 24-year-old Jose Martin-Cruz on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale, authorities said.

The Monterey County Joint Narcotics Task Force, Monterey County Joint Gang Task Force and Monterey County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team participated in the raid.
