A party ended in violence on Christmas when a woman injured three family members with a box cutter, including a teenage girl, police said.

Tiffany Gayle Thomas, 42, was arrested about 10:18 p.m. on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and causing traumatic injury on a child at the Shinsei Gardens Apartments on Willie Stargell Avenue.

No one suffered life-threatening injuries during the altercation, police said. The four people hurt -- three females and one man -- are all related, either through blood or through marriage, police said.

Police described the male victim as in his late 20s, while the females range from a teenager who is a minor to a woman in her 30s. Their names were not disclosed.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 19

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle theft was reported about 10:40 a.m. in the 100 block of Brush Street, while another vehicle was reported stolen just before 1 p.m. in the 2800 block of Yosemite Avenue. Police also recovered a vehicle reported stolen to Modesto police at 4:10 p.m. after a man reported that it appeared abandoned in the 900 block of Regent Street.

  • BURGLARY -- A burglary was reported just before 8 p.m. in the 900 block of Pearl Street, where someone forced open a locked door. No items were stolen, however.

  • IDENTITY THEFT -- Someone used debit card information from a resident of the 1400 block of Sherman Street to make unauthorized purchases in Colorado, police said. The incident was reported at 11:15 p.m.

    THURSDAY, DEC. 20

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle theft was reported about 8:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of Santa Clara Avenue. About 30 minutes later police recovered a vehicle reported stolen in Oakland in the 1600 block of Benton Street.

  • BURGLARY -- Two laptops were reported stolen about 12:15 p.m. after a burglar removed a screen of an open window and entered a residence in the 700 block of Eagle Avenue. A burglary was also reported about 8:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of Washington Street, where the thief entered a residence via an unlocked bathroom window and carried out a messy search inside. An attempted burglary was reported at 8:15 p.m. at an apartment in the 1400 block of Walnut Street, where someone pried the panels of a louvered window while attempting to get inside.

    FRIDAY, DEC. 21

  • IDENTITY THEFT -- Identity theft cases were reported Friday in the 1200 block of Ballena Boulevard, the 1500 block of Pacific Avenue and the 1100 block of Marina Village Parkway, where police said someone transferred money from the victim's account to an account in China.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle was reported stolen about 5:45 p.m. in the 2200 block of Alameda South Shore Center.

    SATURDAY, DEC. 22

  • DRUNKEN DRIVING -- Police arrested a 24-year-old woman on suspicion of drunken driving about 2:30 a.m. after she was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run collision. The arrest occurred at Buena Vista Avenue and Webster Street. Police also arrested a man, 42, on suspicion of drunken driving following a traffic stop at 10:05 a.m. in the 2000 block of Otis Drive.

  • PETTY THEFT -- Someone stole an outboard motor from a boat in the 1100 block of Pacific Marina. The theft was reported just before 11 a.m.

  • ROBBERY -- Three people fled from a vehicle that was carjacked in Oakland after it was involved in a hit-and-run collisionin Alameda, police said. The group were detained shortly after the collision about 11:30 a.m. at Willie Stargell and Mosley avenues and turned over to Oakland police.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle was reported stolen shortly after 8 p.m. in the 100 block of Capetown Drive.

  • ATTEMPTED BURGLARY -- An attempted burglary was reported at 4:20 p.m. at a home on Pickrell Square, where someone pried off a window screen while trying to get inside, police said. The victim also found a bicycle abandoned outside the residence.

    SUNDAY, DEC. 23

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- An attempted vehicle theft was reported about 9:10 a.m. in the 1900 block of North Loop Road. A vehicle was also reported stolen about 30 minutes later in the 900 block of Union Street.

    MONDAY, DEC. 24

  • RESISTING POLICE -- A man reported as a suspicious person after a woman said she was in her back yard allegedly attempted to flee from officers after they arrived at the scene in the 2500 block of Clement Avenue. The man, 36, who was arrested about 1:10 a.m., was in possession of suspected stolen property and he was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant. The man was booked on suspicion of violating his probation and other charges.

  • BURGLARY -- A bicycle was reported stolen at 10:45 p.m. from a garage in the 3400 block of Hazel Lane in what police have classified as a burglary.
