SAN JOSE -- Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing at-risk elderly man who was last seen leaving his Orchid Way home Wednesday morning.

Yung Lee, 96, suffers from dementia and is very forgetful, police said. He also does not speak English.

Around 7:15 a.m., Lee left the home in the 900 block of Orchid, near Saratoga Avenue in the Blackford neighborhood, where he lives with family members. He typically takes a VTA bus to the Korean Center at 1800 Fruitdale Ave., about 3.5 miles away from home, but did not show up Wednesday.

Lee was last seen wearing black slacks, a blue-and-white checkered shirt and a brown jacket. He also had a lanyard around his neck containing a note with contact information for his family.

Anyone who locates Lee is urged to call 911 to report the sighting to police.
