OAKLAND -- Authorities identified a man arrested Thursday after checking in a bag at Oakland International Airport that contained 65 pounds of marijuana.

Tony Nguyen, 21, of San Francisco, was arrested after a random search turned up the marijuana in the baggage for a US Airways flight to Charleston, S.C., according to Alameda County Sheriff's Sgt. J.D. Nelson.

Nguyen was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin, but was out on bail Friday morning, according to the jail's website.
