ANTIOCH -- A man was critically injured by a gunshot Monday evening after he was fired upon at lease once by an unknown suspect, police said.
The victim, identified only as an adult male, was shot at least once in the area of Wild Horse Drive and Ridgeline Drive about 8:20 p.m., Sgt. Desmond Bittner said. He was taken to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Few details were available late Monday, though police said officers are on scene and at the hospital investigating the nature of the shooting.
