The Vallejo Police Department is seeking help in uncovering the identity of a person found buried in South Vallejo last week.

Police have provided photographs of what the clothes would likely look like new. The pants are "Denizen" brand straight slim 36- or 38-inch width, 30-inch length. The person's T-shirt, possibly white, black or another color, has written on it "Time Is Money," is an extra large, and is a "G Unit" brand.

A homicide investigation was launched Friday night when a citizen reported finding a dead body buried west of Derr Street, near Lemon Street.

Without definite information on the cause of the person's death, the case is being treated as a homicide, police say.

As police are unable yet to provide descriptions of race, age or sex, investigators are releasing descriptions of the clothing in hopes to trigger someone stepping forward with further information on the deceased's identity or circumstances surrounding his or her death.

Those with information are asked to contact police Detectives Raul Munoz or Sean Kenney at 648-4524. Tips can also be left for a possible reward with Solano Crime Stoppers, at 644-STOP.
