MORGAN HILL -- One man was injured after he was shot in the abdomen Friday after an argument on a residential street, Morgan Hill police reported.
According to Sgt. Carson Thomas, witnesses reported that just after 8 p.m. Friday two men were standing outside an apartment complex on the 15000 block of La Alameda Drive, just north of Watsonville Road, when they exchanged words.
Shortly after, police received reports of a "man down" in the street.
Officers found a man, whose identity they have not released, suffering from gunshot wounds to the abdomen. He was airlifted to a local hospital, Thomas said. He said the wounds are not life-threatening.
Police are seeking the gunman, who is described as a black man in his mid- to late-20s, 5-foot-9, thin and with dreadlocks. He was last seen driving a green Camry.
