HAYWARD -- McClymonds scored on its first four possessions of the game and racked up 508 yards to roll to a win over the Vikings at Chabot College.
Running back Lavance Warren ran for 169 yards, including a 45-yard touchdown for McClymond's first score as the Warriors (3-1) finished with 270 on the ground. Louis White got past the Vikings (2-2) defense for a 79-yard touchdown reception from Emoni Foutain to give the Warriors a 13-0 lead in the first quarter. Valley Christian tried to get back into the game when Vince Volpatti broke loose on a 50-yard touchdown. The Vikings were unable to get any close the rest of the way.
A Jermaine Mccann Caluya 16-yard touchdown reception and a Daishawn Shannon 1-yard score gave McClymonds a commanding 25-7 lead late in the opening half.
After a Sam Marco 24-yard field goal for the Vikings, Lavon Washington took a lateral on the ensuing kickoff and raced 79 yards to the end zone that extended the Warriors lead to 31-10 with 2:22 left in the half.
Foutain threw for 238 yards on 10 of 18 passing and three scores. White hauled in five receptions for 127 yards. Volpatti rushed for 127 yards on 20 attempts to lead the Vikings.
