LIVERMORE -- The Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority will expand its Wheels bus service to 11 different routes beginning Aug. 25, including stops at the Paragon Outlets that are scheduled to open Nov. 8 in Livermore.
The authority's board, which oversees Wheels, voted in June to add more than 1,700 service hours to six different routes, extensions to four routes, frequency on seven other routes and to improve efficiency.
Starting Aug. 25, Routes 1, 2, 201 and 202 will have service extended in the Dublin area. Route 1 will extend east on Fallon Road on Sundays only. Route 2 will have service run north on Tassajara Road past Dublin Ranch Road and east to Fallon and will run every 45 minutes.
Route 201 service will run further north on Tassajara Road and east to Fallon Road, while Route 202 will extend into central Dublin and serve Brannigan Street and Gleason Drive.
