CONCORD -- The host Concord High boys basketball team rallied from a six-point deficit in the final minutes to force overtime, then pounded fifth-seeded Las Lomas in the extra period to earn a 70-62 North Coast Section Division II quarterfinal victory on Friday.

Siaan Rojas had 20 points and 10 rebounds for No. 4 Concord. Daniel Solis had 17 points and Spencer Clark added 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Royce Henry led Las Lomas (18-10) with 21 points. Ben Wood added 17 points and 15 rebounds but struggled shooting the ball, making just 1 of 13 shots from 3-point range.

The Minutemen advance to the semifinals on Wednesday at No. 1 Montgomery-Santa Rosa.

The Knights seemed to have the game in hand late, leading 58-52 midway through the fourth quarter. But Las Lomas then went cold, failing to score again in regulation.

Concord wasn't much better, still trailing by two entering the final minute. The lead was still 58-56 after Clark missed the front end of a one-and-one with 16.0 seconds left. But Jared Ining did the same at the other end with 12.9 remaining. Jamil Lea got the rebound for the Minutemen, and Rojas scored the tying basket on a drive with less than four seconds left.
