The Earthquakes will go high-tech when they unveil their new logo and jersey Thursday evening at San Pedro Market Square in downtown San Jose. There will be livestreaming using the Google Glass application CrowdOptic.
The party kicks off at 5:30 p.m., with the ceremony beginning at 6:30 p.m., including speeches from Earthquakes president Dave Kaval and San Jose mayor Chuck Reed. The club is promising to introduce its new logo in a large-scale fashion with additional technology.
