PLEASANTON -- The California Highway Patrol's will conduct a sobriety checkpoint at an undisclosed location in Pleasanton. The checkpoint begins at 10 p.m. Saturday and last until to 2 a.m. Sunday.
The checkpoint is designed to reduce the number of drinking drivers on the road and will be targeted for roadways that have established DUI problems, according to a CHP news release.
Funds from the Impaired Driving Enforcement and Apprehension grant are used to support the checkpoint.
