America's nerds are about to swoon.
According to the Huffington Post, rumors are flying like a saucer over New Mexico that "The X-Files" co-stars Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny are dating.
I wonder what sort of alien powers an Anderson-Duchovny baby would have.
The rumors apparently started just hours after news broke that Anderson parted ways with Mark Griffiths, her partner of six years. Sources allegedly told Celebrity Dirty Laundry that Anderson and Duchovny have been in a serious relationship for some time, and that the 44-year-old actress has even moved her two children in with the 52-year-old "Californication" star.
Someone needs to confirm this. The truth is out there. We want to believe. (Sorry, but you sort of knew that was coming.)
The pair have known each other for nearly two decades, working together on "The X-Files" for nine seasons and two feature films as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.
Of course, the "proof" is coming from an unnamed source, as well as Anderson's hesitation to discuss her personal life recently in an interview with the Sunday Times magazine.
When asked if she has a partner at the moment, Anderson said. "Um ... yes ... umm ... umm ..." After a long pause, Anderson said "Say yes." When asked if it's the father of her two young children, Anderson countered with "Umm, no, no ... why do you ask me?"
Oh yeah; it's so obvious. She's totally living with David
Duchovny finalized his divorce with actress Tea Leoni earlier this year.
