The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Aug. 20-25, according to information provided by the Police Department.
Aug. 20
Theft: At 8:56 a.m. it was reported that a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle on Torrington Drive sometime during the night. Warrant: At 11:25 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Sycamore Avenue was arrested when found to be driving without a license and for an outstanding citable warrant. Drugs: At 11:50 a.m. a juvenile was arrested at a school on Minnesota Avenue for suspected marijuana possession. Aug. 21
Recovery: At 12:27 p.m. officers recovered a stolen vehicle out of Redwood City in the parking lot of a business on Lone Tree Way. Accident: At 5:33 p.m. someone driving on Empire Avenue drove off the roadway, colliding with a line of trees. Drugs: At 6:59 p.m. someone stopped for a mechanical violation on Fairview Avenue and Sand Creek Road was arrested for suspected drug possession. Aug. 22
Assault: At 8:48 a.m. two juveniles were arrested on suspicion of fighting in front of Willy's Bagels on Balfour Road. One suspect was taken to a hospital for minor injuries. Accident: At 5:05 p.m. someone was arrested at the scene of an accident on Lone Tree Way when determined to be driving while intoxicated. A passenger was arrested for making threats against an officer. Shoplifting: At 6 p.m. a juvenile was arrested at a business on Lone Tree Way on suspicion of shoplifting. Aug. 23
Warrant: At 1:10 a.m. someone stopped for vehicle code violations on Montana and Chestnut streets was arrested for an outstanding warrant. Burglary: At 11 a.m. it was reported that a vehicle on Hudson Drive was burglarized. Accident: At 2:26 p.m. officers responded to Second Street for a misdemeanor hit-and-run accident. Aug. 24
Warrant: At 12:22 a.m. someone was arrested on Lone Tree Way and Heidorn Ranch Road for an outstanding warrant. DUI: At 10:16 p.m. someone was arrested at the scene of an accident on First Street on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Robbery: At 8:27 p.m. a female was robbed of her cell phone on Carnegie Lane. Aug. 25
Warrant: At 2:52 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Empire Avenue and Shady Willow Lane was arrested when determined to have an outstanding warrant. Drugs: At 6:10 p.m. someone stopped for a traffic violation on Knightsen Road and Tule Lane was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and suspected drug possession. Burglary: At 10:46 p.m. it was reported that a residence on East Country Club Drive was burglarized. -- Nan Hargis
