Antioch

  • Sparkles Delight the Clown: Sparkles Delight the Clown will you with her zany humor, a little magic, a little music and a whole lot of wackiness. 3-4 p.m. Jan. 16.

  • Infant/Toddler Storytime: Short board and picture book stores for infants, toddlers and preschoolers with parent or caregiver and child interaction. 10:30-10:50 a.m. Thursdays.

  • Homework Help: Homework help is available for children grades K-12. 3-6:30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

  • Introduction to OverDrive/eBooks and e-Readers at the Library: Learn about using popular e-readers (Nook, Kindle, iPad, etc.) to access the library's digital collection. 10 -11 a.m. Jan. 14 and 6:30-7:30 p.m. Jan. 15. Registration required at ccclib.org.

  • "Chill Out With a Book" Winter Reading Program: A self-paced reading program for school-age kids and teens. Read and review three books and turn in your reading log to earn prizes, including a free book and Mountain Mike's pizza. Begins Jan. 14.

  • Pajama Storytime: A story time for children 5 and younger. Fuzzy slippers are encouraged. 7 p.m. Mondays.

  • Lapsit Baby Storytime: A story time for infants. 10:30 a.m. Thursdays.

  • Stitchin' Saturdays: Crochet and/or knit with other "stitchers" or learn how to stitch with knowledgeable volunteers. This program is best suited for adults. 10 a.m.-noon Jan. 12.

  • Adult Beading Program: Local beading experts will teach you how to create simple projects with beads. Great for gifts. Registration is required. 6-8 p.m. Jan. 16.

  • Read to a Dog Program: Children 6-13 can improve reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a dog from H.A.L.O. Angel Ears Therapy Dogs. Sign up for a 10-15 minute session beginning Jan. 5. Walk-ins as space permits. 10:30-11:45 a.m. Jan. 19.

  • Family Storytime: The whole family is invited to come have fun listening to books, singing songs and making a craft. 6:30 p.m. Thursdays.
