The following calls were among those handled by the Antioch police Dec. 31-Jan. 5, according to information provided by the Police Department.

Dec. 31

  • Burglary: At 9:47 a.m. a residence was reported burglarized in the 4500 block of Pampas Circle.

  • Robbery: At 2:21 p.m. a female employee was robbed and assaulted at the 7-Eleven on Contra Loma Boulevard. A male suspect hit her in the mouth when she tried to stop him from stealing beer.

    Jan. 1

  • Assault: At 7:51 a.m. Sutter Delta Medical Center reported someone was in the emergency room for treatment of injuries suffered during an assault. The victim was beaten and left unconscious by three males on Gentrytown Drive at approximately 4 a.m.

  • Assault: At 12:37 p.m. officers responded to a report of a female being assaulted at a residence in the 2000 block of Peppertree Way.

  • Attempted robbery: At 7 p.m. it was reported that a male juvenile armed with a handgun attempted to rob a female of her purse in the 4200 block of Lone Tree Way. The victim told police she thought the handgun was a fake.

    Jan. 2

  • Burglary: At 2:43 p.m. a pool cleaner reported a client's residence in the 5500 block of Cedar point Court had been burglarized in their absence. Entry was made through a back door.

  • Burglary: At 7:50 p.m. a residence was reported burglarized and ransacked in the 4100 block of Chabot Street.

  • Burglary: At 11:48 p.m. a residence was reported burglarized in the 2500 block of Asilomar Drive. Entry was made through a back sliding door.

    Jan. 3

  • Burglary: At 10:34 a.m. a residence was reported burglarized in the 3900 block of Hummingbird Drive. A neighbor noticed a door was open while occupants were gone.

  • Assault: At 12:15 p.m. a female reported a boyfriend assaulted her at a residence in the 200 block of Sunset Drive. The suspect reportedly pulled her hair and bit her while brandishing a gun.

  • Burglary: At 3:18 p.m. a residence was reported burglarized and ransacked in the 400 block of East 14th Street, resulting in the loss of jewelry. Entry was made through a side garage door.

    Jan. 4

  • Assault: At 7:43 p.m. a female reported her mother was being assaulted by the father at a residence in the 28 block of West Madill Street.

  • Robbery: At 8:23 p.m. two males armed with a handgun robbed someone in the 900 block of West 10th Street. The suspects left the scene in a white Honda Civic after demanding that the victim hand over cash.

    Jan. 5

  • Robbery: At 3:55 p.m. a juvenile reported seeing two males with a gun rob a male in the 3900 block of Delta Fair Boulevard.
