The following calls were among those handled by the Antioch police Jan. 7-10, according to information provided by the Police Department.

Jan. 7

  • Suspicious circumstances: At 11:05 a.m. officers responded to a report of two males going house to house knocking on doors in the 2000 block of Reseda Way.

  • Attempted robbery: At 1:44 p.m. a male reported that a male with a gun attempted to rob him in the 2900 block of Winding Lane.

  • Burglary: At 4:42 p.m. a residence in the 5100 block of Grass Valley Way was burglarized and ransacked, resulting in the loss of an iPad.

  • Robbery: At 8:43 p.m. a female employee taking out trash at a restaurant in the 4400 block of Lone Tree Way was approached by two males armed with a gun demanding cash. The victim had no cash. The suspects took a cell phone.

    Jan. 8

  • Robbery: At 2:25 a.m. three males robbed a business in the 4100 block of Lone Tree Way. Taken was beer.

  • Burglary: At 1:45 p.m. it was reported that a residence in the 1700 block of Mahogany Way was burglarized, resulting in the loss of jewelry.

  • Burglary: At 7:51 p.m. it was reported that a residence in the 2400 block of A Street was burglarized. Taken were a blood pressure monitor and respiratory nebulizer.
