Expanded hours for free medical clinic

RotaCare Pittsburg Free Medical Clinic, which provides medical services to low-income and uninsured Contra Costa County residents, will start offering Saturday hours on Feb. 9 from 9 a.m. to noon.

The Saturday hours will be held on the second and fourth Saturday of each month. The expanded hours come at a time when the volunteer-staffed clinic, which provides both urgent and primary care, is celebrating two years of service. The new Saturday hours are in addition to Wednesday clinic hours from 4 to 8 p.m. To make an appointment for the clinic, call 925-439-2009 between 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays. The clinic is at St. Vincent de Paul Family Resource Center, 2210 Gladstone Drive, Pittsburg.
