The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Jan. 21-26, according to information provided by the Police Department.
Jan. 21
DUI: At 12:02 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Brentwood Boulevard was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Drugs: At 10:23 a.m. someone contacted during a traffic stop on Walnut Boulevard was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant. Warrant: At 11:18 p.m. someone contacted during a suspicious vehicle stop on Lone Tree Way was arrested when found to have an active felony warrant.Jan. 22
Drugs: At 8:24 a.m. someone contacted during a stolen vehicle recovery on Shasta Daisy Drive was arrested when found to be in possession of a shaved key and suspected methamphetamine. Burglary: At 11:22 a.m. it was reported a residence on Farmhill Way was burglarized resulting in the loss of a TV, Xbox and Kindle Fire. Shoplifting: At 3:37 p.m. someone detained for shoplifting at a business on Lone Tree Way was arrested when found in possession of burglary tools and on felony probation. Jan. 23
Assault: At 8:31 a.m. someone was arrested at a school on Minnesota Avenue for assault. Drugs: At 10:59 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Balfour Road was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant. Petty theft: At 6:14 p.m. a male leaving a movie theater on Sand Creek Road discovered several items had been removed from his unlocked vehicle. Jan. 24
Shoplifting: At 2:56 p.m. three juveniles stole items for a business on Lone Tree Way. Several of the items were recovered. Accident: At 3:01 p.m. a vehicle accident with minor injuries occurred on Balfour Road. Burglary: At 7:55 p.m. a residence was reported burglarized on Huntington Way resulting in the loss of a laptop, silverware and 14-karat gold nativity figure. Jan. 25
Attempted theft: At 1:46 a.m. it was reported a resident on Gold Poppy Street interrupted someone in the process of stealing a paint sprayer from the open bed of a trailer. Subject dropped the sprayer while fleeing the scene. Burglary: At 6:24 a.m. it was reported someone stole several large truck batteries and leaf blowers from a business on Elkins Way sometime during the night. Theft: At 2:19 p.m. a resident on Armstrong Court reported they witnessed someone in a blue vehicle take mail from the mailbox. Jan. 26
DUI: At 2:01 a.m. someone crashed into a garage at a residence on Hawthorn Court. The subject was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Malicious vandalism: At 3:48 a.m. someone threw an unknown object through the front window of a business on Lone Tree Way. Damage was estimated at approximately $350. Burglary: At 2:15 p.m. it was reported a residence on Shasta daisy Drive was burglarized resulting in the theft of a suitcase and several items of clothing.
