The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Feb. 7-11, according to information provided by the Police Department.
Feb. 7
Petty theft: At 3:05 p.m. someone was arrested for shoplifting at a business on Lone Tree Way. Subject was also found to have an outstanding warrant. Grand theft: At 6:24 p.m. someone stole approximately 20 pairs of glasses from a business on Sand Creek Road. Outstanding warrant: Someone contacted on Heartland Drive was arrested when found to have an outstanding bench warrant. Feb. 8
Burglary: At 12:05 a.m. a residence on Sage Sparrow Street was reported burglarized resulting in the theft of firearms, personal documents and electronics. Assault: At 11:21 a.m. a juvenile was arrested on Allbrook Court for assaulting someone during a verbal altercation. Burglary: At 1:56 p.m. it was reported a residence on Citron Drive was burglarized. Entry was made through an open bedroom window.Feb. 9
DUI: At 1:13 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Pimento Drive was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Stolen vehicle: At 7:11 p.m. a vehicle was reported stolen from Brentwood Boulevard. License violation: At 10:24 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Brentwood Boulevard was arrested when found to be driving with a suspended license due to a prior DUI conviction. Feb. 10
Domestic disturbance: At 2:29 a.m. someone involved in a domestic disturbance on Outrigger Circle was arrested when found to be intoxicated. Malicious vandalism: At 7:20 a.m. a resident on Tulip Court reported all four tires on a vehicle at the residence had been punctured. Burglary: At 4:18 p.m. it was reported a residence on Gann Street was burglarized resulting in the theft of jewelry valued at approximately $3,000. Entry was made through an unsecured rear window. Trespass: At 12:34 a.m. someone was arrested for bothering and annoying customers at a business on Walnut Boulevard after being advised to leave by the police. Accident: At 8:14 a.m. a vehicle accident occurred on Dainty Avenue. One passenger was transported to a hospital for minor injuries. Warrant: At 11:35 p.m. someone arrested during a residential burglary was found to have an active no-bail warrant out of Santa Clara County. -- Nan Hargis
