Local resident Pauline Soldavini, who resides at Westmont Senior Living in Brentwood, celebrated her 102nd year on Feb. 1, surrounded by family, friends, Westmore staff, Brentwood Mayor Bob Taylor, Brentwood City Councilman Gene Clare, Erica Rodriguez, a representative from Assemblyman Jim Frazier's office, and performer Felipe Gutierrez, just to name a few.
Soldavini was born in Italy and immigrated to the United States with her father and two sisters as a young girl. The family settled in California, where she met and married Andrew Soldavini. The couple had one daughter, Rosetta. Widowed in 1972, Pauline lived for many years in El Cerrito and later moved to Oakley to be closer to family. She has three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Soldavini continues to enjoy walks, group exercise, activities, and social gatherings daily with her friends and family.
