ANTIOCH -- Travelers headed through the city Monday and Tuesday nights should expect delays on Highway 4 as work continues to widen the road.
All lanes of eastbound Highway 4 will be closed between the Contra Loma Boulevard/L Street and Lone Tree Way/A Street exits from midnight to 4 a.m.; the westbound direction will be closed through the same stretch from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m., according to a Caltrans news release.
Also, a single eastbound lane will be closed between the Lone Tree/A exit and Hillcrest Avenue from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday.
One westbound lane will be closed from the Highway 160 interchange to Lone Tree/A exit from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. Thursday and 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Friday. An eastbound lane on that same stretch will be closed 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday and midnight to 6 a.m. Friday.
One westbound lane will be closed between the Somersville Road/Auto Center Drive exit in Antioch and Pittsburg's Loveridge Road from 11 p.m. Friday night to 6 a.m. Saturday morning.
The westbound on-ramp from Lone Tree Way/A will be closed 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. and midnight Monday and Tuesday. On Friday, the westbound ramp at Somersville/Auto Center will be closed from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
