The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Feb. 28-March 2, according to information provided by the Police Department.

Feb. 28

  • License violation: At 1:19 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Pine Street was cited for driving without a license.

  • Disturbance: At 3:08 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Balfour Road.

  • Suspicious circumstances: At 3:14 p.m. officers responded to the report of a 10-year-old on Dainty Avenue stating someone in a vehicle drove slowly by and asked if the child was in need of ride.

    March 1

  • Drugs: At 1:28 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on O'Hara Avenue was arrested when determined to be driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more.

  • Stolen vehicle: At 6:47 a.m. a vehicle was reported stolen from Dainty Avenue. It was later discovered the vehicle had been repossessed.

  • Attempted burglary: At 10:30 p.m. the side door of a residence on Buckskin Terrace was found kicked in but no entry was made.

    March 2

  • Grand theft: At 2:48 p.m. it was reported the tailgate was stolen from a truck on Brentwood Boulevard.

  • Accident: At 4:45 p.m. a noninjury accident occurred on Sand Creek Road.

  • Weapons: At 11:38 p.m. an individual contacted on Walnut Boulevard was arrested when found to be in possession of a switchblade knife.

    March 3

  • DUI: At 12:28 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Shady Willow Lane was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

  • Assault: At 10:34 p.m. officers respond to Toulouse Lane for the report of an argument that escalated to an assault. All parties denied medical attention for minor injuries.

  • Burglary: At 11:53 a.m. a mountain bike worth an estimated $1,800 was reported stolen from a garage that was left open during the night on Landover Court.

    March 4

  • Stolen vehicle: At 7:50 a.m. a vehicle left warming up in the driveway of a residence on Pippo Drive was reported stolen.

  • Drugs: At 9:37 a.m. someone contacted on Walnut Boulevard was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant.

  • Burglary: At 1:33 p.m. it was reported a residence was burglarized on Crescent Drive resulting in the theft of jewelry from a bedroom and a truck from the garage. Entry was made through a side window.
