The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police April 26-30, according to information provided by the Police Department.
April 26 DUI: At 2:03 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Lone Tree Way was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Grand theft: At 11:39 a.m. a personal mobility scooter was reported stolen from a vehicle on Katherine Court. Accident: At 10:33 p.m. a vehicle crashed into a curb, a tree and a parked vehicle on Presidio Drive. The driver was arrested when determined to be driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more.
April 27 Assault: At 2 a.m. officers responded to Sand Creek Road for two individuals involved in a physical altercation. Both parties denied medical attention. Drugs: At 2:39 a.m. officers and an ambulance were dispatched to a residence on Torrey Pines Drive for a person who ingested a marijuana-laced brownie resulting in a medical emergency. Theft: At 11:13 p.m. someone forced open a change machine at a business on Balfour Road taking $877 in cash and coins.
April 28 Drugs: At 12:16 a.m. someone was arrested at the McDonalds on Brentwood Boulevard for suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Malicious vandalism: At 2:48 p.m. a resident on Wolfe Road reported someone smashed the passenger side window on a vehicle. Damage estimate was $400. Attempted robbery: At 5:33 p.m. a male armed with a knife attempted to rob someone of a scooter on Apricot Way.
April 29 Theft: At 10:34 a.m. a male reported medication and a credit card were stolen from his vehicle at a carwash on Lone Tree Way. Missing person: At 11:19 a.m. officers responded to the report of a missing adult on Simba Place. The individual was located and returned to the residence. License violation: At 11:33 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Highway 4 bypass was arrested when determined to be driving with a suspended license due to a prior DUI conviction.
April 30 Weapon/drugs: At 2:06 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Spruce Street was arrested when found to have two no bail warrants, a loaded handgun, burglary tools and suspected marijuana. Theft: At 11:38 a.m. students at a school on American Avenue reported cell phones were taken from lockers during third period classes. Subject cut off the locks to gain entry. Robbery: At 1:20 p.m. two individuals armed with a handgun robbed someone of $550 on Diablo Way.
