  • Memorial Day Observance Ceremony: 10:30 a.m. May 25, Civic Center Park, 3231 Main St. Honoring veterans with song, bells and a gun salute. In addition, there will be a flag presentation, music with Freedom High School choir, a wreath placement and a recognition of military personnel who were prisoners of war or who never came home. Keynote speaker is Tom Karas, commander of Antioch's Veterans of Foreign Wars post. Remember past and current military members by buying engraved bricks for the veterans memorial the city is planning to construct. Bricks are $125 each.
