Summerset to present Cash Tribute show June 9
BRENTWOOD -- Summerset Orchards presents The Cash Tribute Show featuring James Garner and his band of three. The performance will be at 3 p.m. June 9 at 770 Centennial Place.
James Garner not only takes his audience through a musical journey of Johnny Cash s biggest hits, but also an expedition of his legendary life. Between accurate performances of Cash s songs, Garner tells the stories of Johnny s childhood, entrance into the music business, and the highs and lows that Cash experienced in a career that spanned 48 years.
Admission is $15. Tickets can be purchased at the Summerset Orchards Activity desk or at the door.

Broadway star in concert June 9
ANTIOCH -- The El Campanil Theatre presents "Mostly Broadway with Broadway star David Burnham on June 9.
A member of the original Broadway cast of the six-time Tony Award-winning musical "The Light In The Piazza, Burnham performed on both The Tony Awards broadcast and the PBS telecast "Live From Lincoln Center, subsequently winning the prestigious 2007 Helen Hayes Award and Garland Award as Best Actor for his portrayal of Fabrizio Nacarelli in the national tour. In his one-man show, Burnham performs a mixture of songs from many of his celebrated roles as well as some favorite Broadway standards, and selections from his solo CD recordings,

Gallery On Second hosts Lorraine Lawson art
BRENTWOOD -- The Gallery On Second celebrates the artwork of Lorraine Lawson with an exhibit at 741 Second St.
Lawson s abstract works not only encompass the formal elements of composition, color, value, and texture, but communicate concepts, mindset, ideas and emotion.

Umpqua Bank hosts local art exhibit
ANTIOCH -- Umpqua Bank in Antioch will host a Discover Art League exhibit with the first event showcasing the works of abstract artist Sandra Berkson.

Brentwood hosts public art walls
BRENTWOOD -- The city of Brentwood hosts a Brentwood Public Art Walls exhibit highlighting local artists and organizations.
The exhibit features works by Brian Carlton, oils; Joyce Marlene Carroll-Oetgen, pen, ink, mixed medium; Beverly C. Turner, mixed-media ceramics; and Heritage High School Visual Art students.
