The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police May 20-23, according to information provided by the Police Department.

May 25

  • Grand theft: At 9:39 a.m. it was reported that the approximately $1,000 overhead emergency lights from the owner's take-home fire truck on Landover Court had been stolen sometime overnight.

  • Disturbance: At 5:15 p.m., it was reported that two people on Mills Drive were having a loud verbal argument about marriage.

  • Grand theft: At 8:21 a.m., it was reported that someone stole a catalytic converter from a vehicle on Sand Creek Road. At 10:13 a.m. the same day, another catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle on Silverwood Street.

  • Petty theft: At 9:11 a.m., it was reported that someone unbolted and stole a catalytic converter from a vehicle on Ashford Place.

    May 28

  • Phone harassment: Someone on Kayla Place reported at 12:23 p.m. that he or she was receiving annoying text messages.

  • Miscellanous information: It was reported at 2:20 p.m. that someone on Rocky Creek Terrace accidentally struck another in the face with a scooter.

  • Suspicious circumstances: Someone on Tenaya Drive reported at 2:27 p.m. that he or she hadn't been able to find a box containing a video game console and accessories ever since the moving company transported them.
