ANTIOCH -- The Antioch Historical Society hosts it monthly Family Fun Night on Wednesday at the museum, 1500 W. Fourth St.

The museum will be open from 4 to 9 p.m. with special programs, including a Native American display in the Delta Room, which has been updated to show Miwok Indians and other native people of the Contra Costa County.

Children's activities will include gourds for projects to paint and color and gourd seeds for planting. There also will be projects and prizes for children.

In addition, Charlie Bohakel, local historian and author, will have a slideshow in the Riverview room of local historical interest.

Free refreshments will be served.

Additional Family Night events are set for July 17 and Aug. 21.
