ANTIOCH -- Local drivers should brace themselves for traffic delays at all hours of the day on Somersville Road/Auto Center Drive this week.
The thoroughfare will be closed in both directions during the overnight hours next week as work continues to widen Highway 4, while there will be single lane closures during the day, according to a Caltrans news release.
All lanes of Somersville/Auto Center will be closed between the Highway 4 on-ramps from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
The off-ramps at the Somersville/Auto Center exit will remain open, but turns onto the city street will be limited, Caltrans said.
A single lane in both directions of Somersville/Auto Center will be closed between Century Boulevard and Delta Fair Boulevard 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
There are no other lane or road closures scheduled this week on Highway 4.
