BRENTWOOD -- The Streets of Brentwood will welcome four new merchants in the coming months, including a steakhouse, coffeehouse, cupcake shop and a bed store.

"We are proud to announce this great line-up of new merchants for our customers," Streets of Brentwood General Manager Kristen Weidemann said. "With the completed center improvements and a continually improving merchant mix, we are honored to be the go to location for shopping in East County."

With construction starting in August, Black Angus restaurant will debut at the regional shopping center this November near the main entrance. The steakhouse will feature outdoor patio seating and a western motif.

This fall, Starbucks will open a permanent location with a drive- through lane at The Streets next to Red Robin. While the permanent location is under construction, a temporary Starbucks is serving patrons in the heart of the center.

Sweet Bliss Cupcakes will open its doors in August near Mel's Diner. According to owner Amy McNair, the menu will feature custom flavors, including chocolate and peanut butter and chocolate chip mint. The business will also cater weddings and parties.

Select Comfort will open its first East County location in the fall at The Streets. The store will carry its usual signature Sleep Number beds and accessories and customize mattresses and pillows.
