International Trade Forum set for July 29

The city is planning an International Trade Forum for July 29 to help local businesses utilize international trade as a revenue source.

According to city officials, even very small businesses can take advantage of importing and exporting products overseas. The forum will take place from noon to 2 p.m. at the Brentwood Community Center, 35 Oak St.

Topics include government officials providing advice to merchants on how to increase their import and export practices and how small business owners can access foreign markets through governmental resources.
