Drivers headed west from Antioch will want to avoid Highway 4 overnight Thursday and Friday.

All westbound lanes will be closed between the Somersville Road/Auto Center Drive exit in Antioch and Pittsburg's Loveridge Road from 10 p.m. Thursday to 3:30 a.m. Friday and 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, according to a Caltrans news release.

Meanwhile, a single lane will be closed from Loveridge to Harbor Street during those two nights.

Other closures scheduled this week include the westbound on-ramp from Somersville/Auto Center from 10 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday and 11 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday.

Down the road, the westbound Loveridge on-ramp will be closed at those times as well, though it will remain open when the westbound freeway is fully closed, Caltrans said.

The westbound Loveridge off-ramp will be closed from 8 p.m. Thursday to 9:30 a.m. Friday and 9 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday.

Locally, all lanes of Somersville/Auto Center will be closed between the Highway 4 ramps from 10 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday and 10 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday. The off-ramps at this interchange will remain open, though certain turns will be prohibited. A single lane of the road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. all week.
