The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Aug. 13-17, according to information provided by the Police Department.
Aug. 13 Missing person: At 10:19 a.m. a male on Carter Place reported an individual took his daughter to Nicaragua without his consent. Civil dispute: At 7:26 p.m. officers responded to Brentwood Boulevard for the report of a civil dispute. Burglary: At 9:45 p.m. a residence on Ranchwood Drive was reported burglarized. Entry was made through a bathroom window.
Aug. 14 Shoplifting: At 12:39 p.m. someone was detained by loss prevention employees for shoplifting at a business on Lone Tree Way. The subject was arrested for suspicion of stealing $82 worth of merchandise. Theft: At 1:32 p.m. officers responded to a report of a theft from a business on Sand Creek Road. Subject stole approximately $500 worth of football jerseys. Stolen vehicle: A vehicle was reported stolen from a parking lot at a business on Lone Tree Way. Accident: At 8:52 p.m. officers responded to a noninjury accident on Lone Tree Way.
Aug. 15 DUI: At 2:37 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Second Street was arrested when determined to be driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more. Burglary: At 8:34 a.m. someone entered an office on Central Boulevard and stole miscellaneous files, paperwork and a petty cash box. Burglary: At 6:17 p.m. it was reported a vehicle was burglarized on Roselinda Court resulting in the loss of a firearm.
Aug. 16 Public intoxication: At 2:33 a.m. a female was arrested on Valley Green Drive for intoxication at a level where she was unable to care for safety. Theft: At 2:40 p.m. it was reported colored solar lights and ornamental lawn wind mills were stolen from a residence on Tropicana Lane. Drugs: At 3:55 p.m. a juvenile was arrested for suspected marijuana possession on Windsor Way. Subject was released to a parent on a juvenile affidavit.
Aug. 17 DUI: At 12:33 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation was arrested when determined to be driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more. Accident: At 12:44 a.m. someone stopped involved in a traffic collision on First Street was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Drugs: At 7:06 p.m. someone on felony probation was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
