The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Sept. 23-27, according to information provided by the Police Department.
Sept. 23 Burglary: At 7:05 a.m. it was reported a business on Balfour Road was burglarized. Subject took keys to mobile homes and buildings, as well as postage stamps and cash. Entry was made through a door. Loss estimated at $825. Malicious vandalism: At 8:50 a.m. someone discharged two fire extinguishers on the top floor of the Brentwood city parking structure. Vehicle accident: At 5:49 p.m. someone involved in an accident on Brentwood Boulevard fled on foot when determined to be driving a stolen vehicle. Subject was later located by a K-9 unit and arrested.
Sept. 24 Robbery: At 1:26 p.m. someone was arrested during a robbery at a business on Walnut Boulevard. Subject was found to be on probation. Assault: At 10:57 p.m. someone at a location on Country Glen Lane was struck in the face. Victim requested prosecution. Warrant: At 11:39 p.m. a male contacted during a traffic stop on Second Street was arrested when determined to have an outstanding warrant.
Sept. 25 Drugs: At 8:07 a.m. a juvenile contacted on Sherwood Drive was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant. Subject was also discovered to be a runaway. Burglary: At 1:22 p.m. two males stole approximately $900 worth of merchandise from a business on Balfour Road. Subjects fled in a white Chevrolet. Drugs: At 3:05 p.m. a male reported discovering a marijuana grow at his property on Almond Street.
Sept. 26 Weapons/drugs: At 2:23 a.m. someone contacted during a suspicious vehicle stop on Cesar Chavez Drive was arrested when found to be in possession of a loaded handgun, suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and for suspicion of being under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant. Warrant: At 11:26 a.m. a male contacted at a location on Second Street was arrested when determined to have an outstanding warrant. Burglary: At 11:48 p.m. someone was arrested during a burglary at a residence on Piatta Court. Entry was made through a front window.
Sept. 27 DUI: At 1:28 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Brentwood Boulevard was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Theft: At 10:29 a.m. a debit card was taken from an unlocked vehicle at a location on Sycamore Avenue. Theft: At 5:25 p.m. someone stole beer valued at $55 from a business on Lone Tree Way.
