The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Sept. 28-Oct. 2, according to information provided by the Police Department.
Sept. 28 DUI: At 2:03 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Robin Street was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Malicious vandalism: At 9:15 a.m. it was reported someone broke a streetlight on Nancy Street. Public Works was notified. Custody: At 9:52 a.m. officers responded to First Street for the report of a child custody dispute. One party refused to exchange the children. Subject left before police arrived.
Sept. 29 Warrant: At 7:33 p.m. a male contacted on Marina Way was arrested when found to have an outstanding DUI warrant out of Solano County. Burglary: At 7:52 p.m. it was reported a residence on Blossom Drive was burglarized. False registration: At 10:17 p.m. a female stopped for a vehicle code violation on Lone tree Way was arrested for knowingly using a false registration tab on the license plate.
Sept. 30 Theft: At 2:50 p.m. a female was arrested at a business on Lone Tree Way for stealing smoke detectors. Burglary: At 8:52 p.m. it was reported someone entered a business on Sand Creek Road taking 66 pair of sunglasses valued at approximately $16,000. Probation violation: At 10:07 p.m. someone contacted at a school on Second Street was arrested when determined to be in violation of probation.
Oct. 1 Stolen property: At 2:07 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Balfour Road was arrested along with two passengers for possession of suspected stolen catalytic converts, suspected methamphetamine possession and possession of burglary tools. Theft: At 11:29 a.m. it was reported someone entered an unlocked vehicle on Boltzen Court stealing CDs and clothing. Burglary: At 2:33 p.m. it was reported a residence on Fairview Avenue was burglarized. The front window was smashed to gain entry.
Oct. 2 Domestic disturbance: At 11:22 a.m. officers responded to the report of a domestic disturbance on Windmill Court where parents were in a verbal dispute over their sons use of violent video games. Theft: At 1:35 p.m. it was reported someone stole $1,500 worth of clothing from a business on Sand Creek Road. Malicious vandalism: At 10:37 p.m. a female at a location on Brentwood Boulevard reported tires were slashed on her vehicle.
