The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Oct. 7-11, according to information provided by the Police Department.

Oct. 7

  • Burglary: At 4:53 a.m. a male reported someone forced entry into his vehicle. Subject was later contacted and arrested on suspicion of burglary.

  • Accident: At 2:41 p.m. officers responded to an injury accident on Balfour Road. One driver was transported to a hospital due to unrelated medical problems that may have caused the collision.

  • Burglary: At 5:14 p.m. a residence on Mericrest Street was reported burglarized resulting in the loss of $300 and three books of checks. Entry was made by breaking a side window.

    Oct. 8

  • Weapons: At 2:45 a.m. someone contacted on Central Boulevard was arrested for possession of a switchblade knife.

  • Warrant: At 10:42 a.m. a male contacted on Second Street was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.

  • Theft: At 11:49 a.m. someone altered a check to obtain funds at a bank on Lone Tree Way. Loss to bank was $5,401.

    Oct. 9

  • Drugs: At 12:04 a.m. a male contacted on Curtis Drive was observed weighing suspected marijuana on a digital scale. Subject confessed to police that the marijuana was for sales and advised them of additional marijuana at his residence.

  • Drugs: At 10:44 p.m. someone contacted while seated in a vehicle on Windsor Way was arrested for suspected hashish and marijuana possession. A backpack was also found containing pills.

  • Reckless driving: At 9:28 p.m. someone contacted for reckless driving behind a business on Lone Tree Way was arrested. Subject's vehicle tags were expired in excess of six months and the vehicle was stored.

    Oct. 10

  • Malicious vandalism: At 8:12 a.m. it was reported someone spray painted the concrete spillway on Old Sand Creek Road with back, white and orange spray paint.

  • Burglary: At 5:27 p.m. someone broke into a vehicle on Griffith Lane and stole a purse.

  • Public intoxication: At 6:19 p.m. someone was arrested on Lone Tree Way for public intoxication.

    Oct. 11

  • Warrant: At 5:35 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation was arrested when found to have and outstanding warrant.

  • Vehicle theft: At 7:28 a.m. a blue Honda Civic was reported stolen from Collis Street.

  • Theft: At 1:49 p.m. fire extinguishers where discharged and then stolen from the city parking garage on City Park Way.
