Antioch

  • Infant/Toddler Storytime: Come join others for stories, songs, rhymes, finger plays and movement activities. 10:30 a.m. Jan. 6, 16, 23, 30.

  • The Puppet Company presents "The Sorcerer's Apprentice": What could be better than a mysterious puppet show that begins with a bit of magic? Join others for this exciting show full of surprises and suspense. 3 p.m. Jan. 15.

  • Homework Help: Homework Help is available from 3-6 p.m. on Mondays and from 3-7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays for grades K-12. Volunteers available to help you with homework and answer questions through January.

  • Preschool Storytime: Fun stories, songs, rhymes and more for preschoolers/toddlers. 4 p.m. through January.

    Brentwood

  • Pajama Storytime: A story time for children 5 and younger. Fuzzy slippers are encouraged. 7 p.m. Mondays through January.

  • Winter Reading Program: Complete a reading log and receive prizes and a free book. Sponsored by Mountain Mike's Pizza, Rubio's and the Friends of the Brentwood Library. Begins Jan. 11.

  • Time Capsule Program: Join a time capsule celebration. Learn about Pittsburg's past, celebrate its present and predict its future. Come ready to create your own time capsule. Sponsored by the Friends of the Pittsburg Library and the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce. 1 p.m. Jan. 4.

  • Storytime for Children/Play Date: Enjoy bounces, songs, stories and more with your little one. After the story time, you are welcome to stay and play with early literacy toys at the library. This story time series runs 11:15-11:45 a.m. Fridays.

  • Preschool Storytime: Stories, finger plays, songs and flannel boards for ages 3-5. 10:30- 11 a.m. Wednesdays through January.

  • Storytime and Crafts: Explore ideas through stories and put your creativity skills to work with crafts. All ages welcome. Parent participation is appreciated. 1 p.m. Jan. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31.
