The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Nov. 25-29, according to the Police Department.

Nov. 25

  • Theft: At 2:47 a.m. someone was arrested for stealing merchandise from a business on Balfour Road. Subject has been caught stealing from the business on numerous occasions.

  • Theft: At 7:09 p.m. someone was arrested for stealing merchandise from a business on Lone Tree Way.

    Nov. 26

  • Drugs: At 3:10 a.m. someone contacted on Lone Tree Way was arrested for suspected possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

  • Drugs: At 11:36 a.m. someone was arrested at a school on American Avenue for suspected marijuana possession for sales.

  • Accident: At 7:22 p.m., an unoccupied fire engine on Brentwood Boulevard was hit.

    Nov. 27

  • Burglary: At 7:15 a.m. a garage door opener was stolen from vehicle on Somersby Way. The garage was entered, but nothing appeared to be missing.

  • Vehicle theft: At 7:26 a.m. a vehicle was reported stolen from a location on Sand Creek Road. Vehicle was recovered in Pittsburg.

    Nov. 28

  • Theft: At 9:23 a.m. someone caught stealing merchandise from a Sand Creek Road business was put under citizen's arrest by a loss prevention officer.

  • Drugs/warrant: At 1:42 p.m. someone on Spanish Bay Drive was arrested in connection with an outstanding warrant out of Alameda County. Subject was also in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, methadone and a glass smoking pipe.

  • Burglary: At 9:14 p.m. is was reported someone forced entry into a business on Balfour Road and then proceeded to use a saw to gain access to a safe. Subject was unsuccessful.

    Nov. 29

  • Burglary: At 1:59 a.m. a vehicle at a location on Lone Tree Way was burglarized resulting in the loss of medical supplies.

  • Warrant: At 2:54 p.m. an individual on Moss Hollow Court was arrested in connection with an outstanding warrant.

  • Petty theft: At 6:22 p.m. someone was arrested at Kohl's for stealing a pair of shoes.
