The following calls were among those handled by the Antioch police, Jan. 5 to Jan. 10, according to information provided by the Police Department.
JAN. 5 Burglary: At 11:15 a.m., the victim returned from church to his or her home in the 20 block of Service Road to find someone had broken through the front door and stolen jewelry among other belongings.
JAN. 8 Robbery: At 1:28 a.m., a man reported that he had been robbed at gunpoint in the 1100 block of Macaulay Street by a black man in a white two-door vehicle. The victim, who was uninjured, says the man got out of the passenger seat and pointed a 9 mm. gun in his face, telling him to lie down. Victim couldn't provide a physical description of the driver. Burglary: At 4:46 p.m., the victim came home in the 2400 block of Sequoia Drive to find that someone had broken into the house through the rear French doors. ROBBERY: At 12:15 p.m., a woman in the 1800 block of Table Mountain Court reported that she and her daughter were at home when a man entered through an open door, pushed her to the floor and pointed a silver handgun at her. He took her purse and phone before leaving in a small red sedan. Victim reported that she knew the man, who was fired from the dealership that her boyfriend owns. Burglary: At 11:29 p.m., police answered a report that a house in the 2200 block of Hamlin Drive had been broken into through the rear sliding door. Thieves reportedly stole laptop computers. Assault: At 5:38 a.m., the victim reported that his girlfriend intentionally ran him over in a car outside the apartment complex in the 2800 block of Cadiz Lane. Burglary: At 7:22 p.m., a man returned home in the 3000 block of Filbert Street to find two intruders inside and his house ransacked. Both suspects ran out the front door.
