The following calls were among those handled by Antioch police, Jan. 19 to Jan. 25, according to information provided by the police department.

Jan. 19

  • Assault: At 7:45 p.m. police responded to a call on the 1900 block of D Street that a homeless man was hit over the head with a baseball hat and was badly bleeding.

  • Robbery: At 8:25 p.m. police responded to the corner of Cavallo and Sunset where two men jumped a victim and tried to take his money and phone.

  • Assault: At 11:40 p.m. police received a call that someone had a gun pulled out on them on the 2500 block of Stanford Way.

    Jan. 20

  • Robbery: At 7:55 p.m., men in a blue sedan pulled up to a man on the 2400 block of Mahogany Way and pulled a gun on him and took his wallet.

    JAN. 21

  • Burglary: At 3:39 p.m., someone reported that a person forced his or her way into a home on the 5000 block of Mesa Ridge Drive by going through the rear glass sliding door.

  • Burglary: At 9:11 p.m., someone reported that the back gate of a home of the 600 block of Burwood Way was open, the screen was off the window and the bedroom blinds were up.

  • Assault: At 9:36 p.m., police responded to a call that there were five to six gun shots heard on the corner of A and 15th streets.

    Jan. 22

  • Robbery: At 2:28 p.m., police responded to a call on the 1500 block of A Street where three men in a stolen teal vehicle robbed a post man of the mail he was carrying.

  • Robbery: At 2:59 p.m., police responded to a retailer on the 5800 block of Lone Tree Way where security had a woman in custody following a struggle.

  • Burglary: At 10:53 p.m., police responded to a call on the 2300 block of Mark Twain Drive where someone appeared to have entered a home through a kitchen window and took an iPad, purse and jewelry.

    Jan. 23

  • Robbery: At 11:27 a.m., police responded to the 2200 block of San Jose Drive where a woman says she was attacked at gunpoint by two men, who stole her purse.

  • Burglary: At 4:46 p.m., someone reported that the garage door of their stepsons house was open on the 3400 block of Magellan Court and a flat screen television had been stolen.

  • Assault: At 9:29 p.m., police responded to the corner of A and E. 18th streets after a woman struck a pedestrian with a white Honda Civic on the right side of his body. The two had been in an argument earlier.

    Jan. 24

  • Burglary: At 11:02 a.m., someone returned some to the 2950 block of Roosevelt Lane and found the front door was open and the television missing.

  • Burglary: At 1:15 p.m., it was discovered that the front door has been kicked in at a home on the 2700 block of Longview Road.

    Jan. 25

  • Burglary: At 12:15 p.m., the neighbor of a home on the 400 block of East 14th Street heard a loud noise and saw six people leave in a dark-colored SUV.
