The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Jan. 27-Feb. 2 according to information provided by the Police Department.

Jan. 27

  • Drug: At 10:12 a.m. a juvenile was arrested when found to be in possession of suspected marijuana at a high school on American Avenue. Another subject was taken into custody of suspicion of furnishing the juvenile with marijuana.

  • Warrant: At 5:17 p.m. someone contacted on Brentwood Boulevard was arrested when found to have an outstanding warrant.

  • Drugs: At 10:56 p.m. the passenger in a vehicle was arrested for suspicion of suspected methamphetamine possession and forged access cards.

    Jan. 28

  • Vehicle theft: At 9:15 a.m. it was reported a vehicle was stolen from a residence on Shiles Place.

  • License violation: At 8:08 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Walnut Boulevard was cited when found to be driving with a suspended license due to a prior DUI conviction.

  • Burglary: At 9:30 p.m. someone stole a Nikon camera from a locked vehicle at a location on Lone Tree Way.

    Jan. 29

  • Domestic disturbance: At 2:10 a.m. officers responded to Handel Way for a report of a domestic disturbance.

  • Theft: At 3:16 p.m. a cell phone was stolen from the back pocket of someone walking on Second Street.

  • Theft: At 10:57 p.m. to individuals were placed under citizen's arrest for suspected shoplifting at a business on Lone Tree Way.

    Jan. 30

  • Theft: At 7:42 a.m. someone cut the locks and stole bicycles from the porch of a residence on Ghiggeri Drive.

  • Assault: At 9:50 a.m. two juveniles were arrested at a school on Ghiggeri Drive for mutual combat. Both subjects suffered minor injuries.

  • Forgery: At 2:55 p.m. officers responded to a business on Lone Tree Way for the report of counterfeit bills being used to purchase merchandise.

    Jan. 31

  • Petty theft: At 3:54 p.m. someone took approximately $100 worth of meat from a business on Second Street.

  • License violation: At 6:49 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation was cited when found to be driving with a suspended license due to a prior DUI conviction.

  • Theft: At 7:56 p.m. someone stole 30 packs of beer from a business on Second Street.
