The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Feb. 7-12, according to information provided by the Police Department.

Feb. 7

  • Grand theft: At noon, it was reported that a saw valued at $1,129.95 was stolen from a display at a business on Brentwood Boulevard.

  • Vandalism: At 2:08 p.m., it was reported that someone had shattered the front passenger window of a car on Suntan Lane.

  • DUI crash: At 7:04 p.m., police responded to a traffic collision on Brentwood Boulevard. A driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

    Feb. 8

  • Theft: At 12:34 a.m., it was reported that an unknown amount of beer was stolen from the AM/PM minimart on Lone Tree Way.

  • Theft: At 3:09 p.m., it was reported that cash, a GPS system and a backup camera was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Havenwood Avenue.

  • Drugs: At 10:08 p.m., someone contacted at a location on Oak Street was arrested for suspected possession of a controlled narcotic.

    Feb. 9

  • Theft: At 1:05 a.m., someone forced entry into a vehicle on Sand Creek Road and stole a backpack.

  • Auto theft: At 10:27 a.m., it was reported that a 1994 truck was stolen on Gingerwood Terrace.

  • Burglary: At 2:26 p.m., a man entered a business on Lone Tree Way. He was later arrested for suspected theft in the amount of $260.85.

  • Robbery: At 7:28 p.m., a man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting on Lone Tree Way, biting a victim who was trying to recover the stolen property.

    Feb. 10

  • Assault: At 9:12 a.m., police responded to Minnesota Avenue to a call for an assault on school grounds.

  • Vandalism: At 3:23 p.m., police responded to a call of graffiti on the walls of the tunnel underneath O'Hara Avenue at Marsh Creek trail.

  • Warrants: At 8 p.m., someone contacted on Sand Creek Way was found to have an outstanding warrant and taken into custody.

  • Warrants: At 10:22 p.m., someone contacted on Montecito Drive was arrested when found to have an outstanding warrant.

    Feb. 11

  • Auto Theft: At 12:50 a.m., it was reported that someone's vehicle on Boone Drive had been stolen while they were on vacation.

  • Found property: At 9:28 a.m., police received a found wallet that was mailed to them anonymously.

  • Burglary: At 4:08 p.m., it was reported that someone forced entry into a vehicle on Brentwood Boulevard overnight and stole a stereo valued at $50.

  • Weapons: At 9:06 p.m., police arrested a juvenile on Brentwood Boulevard on suspicion of weapons violations for being in possession of metal knuckles. The juvenile was released to a parent.

    Feb. 12

  • Grand Theft: At 9:21 a.m., it was reported that someone stole $1,000 worth of merchandise from The Home Depot on Lone Tree Way.

  • Fraud: At 2:11 p.m., a resident on Tricia Street contacted police saying their Social Security number had been used by another for state tax purposes.

  • Weapons: At 2:12 p.m., police made an arrest on Birch Street as someone allegedly had a knife on school grounds.

  • Theft: At 4:40 p.m., police responded to a call on Sand Creek Road after individuals ordered and ate food and left without paying. They were located in the area by witnesses and placed under citizens arrest.
