Collin Barnes, a senior at Freedom High School, earned the rank of Eagle Scout, which will be presented in Court of Honor ceremonies at a future date in April.

He is a member of Troop 298.

For his project, Barnes directed a large group of volunteers in the construction of large duck houses on Grizzly Island.

During his Scouting career, Barnes earned numerous scouting awards, and 25 merit badges.

He has worked at the Scout Camp Wolfeboro as a staff member for the last several summers, teaching gun safety and skills to Scouts, and is looking forward to working at Scout Camp Wolfeboro again this summer after graduation.

Barnes plans to attend college as well as look into joining the Army Reserves.
