The following calls were among those handled by the Antioch police March 23-29, according to information provided by the Police Department.

March 23

  • Burglary: At 8:02 a.m. it was reported that a residence in the 2400 block of Carpenter Drive was burglarized. Entry was made through an unlocked back door.

  • Attempted robbery: At 10:14 p.m. a female reported she was knocked down by two males as they tried to take her purse on Mark Twain and Mokelumne drives. The suspects ran away after she refused to give them the purse.

  • Robbery: At 11:19 p.m. one male and two females armed with a handgun pushed a victim to the ground and wanted to go through his dresser drawers at a location on Mahogany Way. The suspects tore apart the room, then left in a black Ford Bronco.

    March 24

  • Attempted burglary: At 9:15 a.m. someone reported that two teens were attempting to break in a neighbor's house in the 2300 block of Yorkshiore Drive. Entry was attempted through a window in the back of the house.

  • Robbery: At 12:37 p.m. a person with sight disabilities was walking in the 2400 block of A Street when she was approached by two males with a gun. They pointed the gun at her head and demanded money, keys and a wedding ring.

  • Robbery: At 10:27 p.m. a male on G and West 18th streets was approached by another male who pushed the victim to the ground and took his bike.

    March 25

  • Assault: At 1:05 a.m. someone reported a group of individuals were on East 14th Street screaming. Someone yelled out that they saw a knife.

  • Assault: At 3:46 a.m. a female reported that she had been shot on at a location on K and West 10th streets.

  • Burglary: At 8:58 a.m. it was reported that a vacant residence in the 5000 block of Toyon Way was burglarized. Taken was a refrigerator.

    March 26

  • Burglary: At 4:34 p.m. it was reported that a residence in the 4900 block of Country Hills Drive was burglarized. Point of entry was a rear sliding door.

  • Burglary: At 7:42 p.m. it was reported that a residence in the 4200 block of Belle Drive was burglarized. Point of entry was through a back kitchen window.

  • Burglary: At 10:32 p.m. someone in the 4200 block of Belle Drive reported the residence had been ransacked and burglarized

    March 27

  • Assault: At 2:46 a.m. someone reported they had been stabbed with a broken bottle on East 18th Street and Evergreen Avenue. The victim requested medical attention.

  • Assault: At 2:09 p.m. a student at a school in the 4700 block of Sterling Hill Drive was kicked in the head by another student.

    March 28

  • Robbery/assault: At 9:57 p.m. Sutter Delta Medical Center reported a male was in the emergency room after six suspects assaulted the victim and tried to take a laptop. The assault occurred on Filbert Street.

  • Robbery: At 1:02 p.m. a female was caught stealing at the Raley's on Lone Tree Way. The suspect stated she had a gun.

  • Burglary: At 7:13 p.m. it was reported that a residence in the 4500 block of Bison Way was burglarized. Point of entry was a window.

    March 29

  • Robbery: At 12:30 a.m. someone was robbed in the 2700 block of West Tregallas Road. The suspect left in a Chrysler minivan.

  • Burglary: At 1:05 a.m. a female in the 2800 block of Gentrytown Drive reported someone broke into her apartment.

  • Assault: At 4:09 a.m. Sutter Delta Medical Center reported a female was in the emergency room seeking treatment after being hit in the head and knocked out on Banyan Street.
