The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police April 3-7, according to information provided by the Police Department.

April 3

  • Malicious vandalism: At 7:57 a.m. someone smashed the window on a vehicle at a residence on Bellmead Court. Damage repair is estimated at $200.

  • Burglary: 8:59 a.m. a locked vehicle was reported burglarized at a residence on Birch Avenue. Cellphone charger was taken.

  • Drugs: At 1:16 p.m. a juvenile was arrested for suspected possession of a controlled substance at a location on Bonita Way. The juvenile was released to a grandparent.

    April 4

  • Theft: At 10:25 a.m. it was reported that someone stole cigarettes from a business on Sand Creek Road.

  • Fraud: At 2:06 p.m. a resident on Havenwood Avenue reported personal information was used in an attempt to open a line of credit.

    April 5

  • Warrant: At 1:28 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Second Street was arrested when determined to have an outside warrant.

  • Burglary: At 7:41 p.m. it was reported a vehicle at a location on Sand Creek Road was burglarized, resulting in the loss of an iPad mini.

  • Accident: At 8:24 p.m. officers responded to a hit-and-run accident on Cerritos Road.

    April 6

  • DUI: At 2:11 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Brentwood Boulevard was arrested when determined to be driving while intoxicated.

  • Weapon violation: At 11:59 a.m. officers conducted an investigative traffic stop on Birch Street. The suspect was found to be in possession of a billy club.

    April 7

  • Theft: At 7:47 a.m. a resident on Harvest Park Drive reported someone cut the fuel lines on two vehicles and stole gas.

  • Robbery: At 1:10 p.m. someone entered the Verizon store on Lone Tree Way armed with a gun and threatened to shoot customers. The suspect stole multiple phones and electronics.

  • Accident: At 6:47 p.m. someone damaged a parked vehicle at a location on Lone Tree Way and left the scene.
