The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police April 8-12, according to information provided by the Police Department.

April 8

  • Theft: At 8:33 a.m. a resident on Lawrence Lane reported the gas tank on a vehicle was punctured and fuel stolen.

  • Burglary: At 2:10 p.m. it was reported that a business on Second Street was burglarized, resulting in the loss of a television.

  • Drugs: At 11:26 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Orchard Drive was arrested when determined to be under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant.

    April 9

  • Recovery: At 12:45 p.m. officers recovered a car on Lee Way that had been reported stolen from Pittsburg.

  • Burglary: At 1:04 p.m. a residence on Oxford Lane was reported burglarized, resulting in the loss of a silver wedding cake spatula. The suspect entered through an open garage door.

  • Drugs: At 7:58 p.m. someone contacted on Brentwood Boulevard was arrested when determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance. The suspect was on probation.

    April 10

  • Malicious vandalism: At 10:29 a.m. a resident on Falcon Court reported an irrigation pipe was blocked with concrete.

  • Public intoxication: At 12:58 p.m. a female contacted on Orchard Way was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

  • Burglary: At 6:11 p.m. it was reported that someone shattered a rear glass door at a residence on La Pergola Drive and stole a television and glassware. The approximate loss was $1,000.

    April 11

  • Probation violation: At 1:58 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Second Street was arrested when determined to be in violation of parole.

  • Domestic disturbance: At 10:20 a.m. officers responded to Minnesota Avenue for the report of a domestic dispute. No injuries occurred.

  • Outside assist: At 1:30 p.m. officers took a juvenile into custody at the request of a parole officer.

    April 12

  • Warrant: At 1:47 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Spruce Street was arrested for an outstanding warrant and suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

  • Drugs: At 2;25 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle violation on Village Drive was arrested when determined to be an unlicensed driver and in possession of suspected marijuana.

  • Burglary: At 5:38 p.m. it was reported a vehicle was burglarized at a location on Sand Creek Road. A window was smashed and a backpack containing an iPad was taken.
