OAKLEY -- Kids who like building things will find an outlet for their creative juices with a LEGO camp that Oakley's recreation division is offering this summer.
The sessions meet 9 a.m. to noon weekdays and will be staggered: Ages 6 to 10 will meet June 16-20, and ages 7 to 12 will meet June 23-27.
The camps will include contests and other activities intended to spark young imaginations.
Winners will receive trophies -- made of LEGO, of course -- and each day will end with raffle prizes.
During the camp, parents can see what their kids are up to via a Shutterfly web page, and daily snacks will be provided.
Participants must register before June 2 to receive a LEGO figure.
Cost is $150 for Oakley residents, $160 for nonresidents, and preregistration is required.
