The following calls were among those handled by the Antioch police May 25-31, according to information provided by the Police Department.

May 25

  • Burglary: At 7:55 a.m. it was reported that a residence in the 4800 block of Highlands Way was burglarized. A bedroom was burglarized and ransacked. Entry was made through an open window.

  • Robbery: At 2:23 p.m. it was reported that officers had a robbery suspect in custody at a location on Sommersville Road. The suspect was uncooperative while being arrested.

    May 26

  • Burglary: At 2:10 a.m. it was reported that a residence in the 2600 block of Whitetail Drive was burglarized. Entry was made through an open garage door. Taken was bikes and golf clubs.

  • Burglary: At 7:45 p.m. it was reported that a residence in the 1900 block of San Jose Drive was burglarized. Taken was laptops and a television.

    May 27

  • Assault: At 8:47 a.m. a female reported that a boyfriend came into the residence in the 3200 block of Terrace View Avenue and struck her in the nose. The suspect left in a gold 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora.

  • Robbery: At 1:52 p.m. a male grabbed a female's hand and told her to give him money. The suspect was last seen running toward Gentrytown Drive.

  • Assault: At 6:20 p.m. an employee at a business on Auto Center Drive reported that a transient came in asking for a bandage. The person said he was attacked with an ax somewhere on Sycamore Drive.

    May 28

  • Robbery: At 12:39 a.m. a silent alarm alerted police that a robbery was in progress at 7-Eleven on Buchanan Road.

  • Vehicle theft: At 11:44 a.m. it was reported that a blue Ford Expedition was stolen from the 4800 block of Braemar Street.

  • Burglary: At 2:26 p.m. it was reported that a residence in the 2900 block of El Monte Way was burglarized. Entry was made through a window.

    May 29

  • Robbery: At 12:57 a.m. it was reported the 7-Eleven in the 1000 block of East 18th Street was robbed by a male with a gun. The employee was hit in the head with the butt of the gun, causing a head injury.

  • Assault: At 6:04 p.m. officers responded to the 900 block of A Street for the report of two males fighting.

  • Shoots fired: At 7:49 p.m. it was reported that two males in vehicles were seen shooting at one another in the 500 block of West Second Street.

    May 30

  • Robbery: At 11:18 a.m. it was reported that a female was robbed of a hair wig at a location on Lone Tree Way. The suspect left in a black Volvo.

  • Burglary: At 12:45 p.m. it was reported that a residence on South Lake Road was burglarized. Entry was made through a rear sliding door.

    May 31

  • Robbery: At 1:47 a.m. a male was reportedly robbed at gunpoint in the 4100 block of Lone Tree Way by four males. One suspect cocked the gun and demanded a cellphone and money.
