With drought conditions persisting, what steps are you taking to conserve water this summer and do you believe current conservation efforts will be sufficient to ensure East County's water needs?
CONSIDERING replacing the front lawn with drought tolerant plants, edible plants and mulch with a drip line only.

I'VE BEEN CONSERVING but it really bugs me when driving down James Donlon and seeing broken sprinklers spewing water all over everywhere around the Mira Vista Development, and then again on Buchanan around Highlands Ranch. What is the city of Antioch doing to conserve and not waste water? What I see is a horrible waste by the city just driving around town. How about leading by example for a change?
NOTHING! Took care of it four years ago by taking out grass and putting rock with a desert landscaping.
This week's question:
Many educators warn of the "summer slide" in which students suffer academically during the long summer break. Do you think this is a valid concern, and how much time do you think students should spend during the summer brushing up on academic skills?
